Comparison review
The LG Velvet is better than the OnePlus 8, getting an 87.1 score against 76. The LG Velvet body has the same weight and thickness than OnePlus 8. OnePlus 8 features a bit better processing unit than LG Velvet, and although they both have 8 processing cores, the OnePlus 8 also has a greater amount of RAM.
The OnePlus 8 features a sharper screen than LG Velvet, because although it has a bit worse resolution of 1080 x 2400px and a little smaller display, it also counts with a little bit higher pixels density. The LG Velvet has a much better memory to store more apps and games than OnePlus 8, and although they both have exactly the same 128 GB internal storage capacity, the LG Velvet also has a SD memory card expansion slot that allows up to 1,95 TB.
The OnePlus 8 features a battery performance that's just as good as the battery performance in LG Velvet. OnePlus 8 shoots a bit better photographs and videos than LG Velvet, and although they both have the same resolution camera in the back, a 0.5 inches sensor, a F1.8 aperture and the same (4K) video resolution, the OnePlus 8 also has better 60 frames per second video frame rates.
In addition to being the best phone between the ones we are comparing, the LG Velvet is also by far the cheapest, which makes it very easy to pick between these devices.
