LG Velvet is slightly better than Galaxy A8 Star, having an 87.1 score against 82.1. LG Velvet's design is newer and a little bit lighter, but also just a bit thicker than Galaxy A8 Star. The LG Velvet has a bit more powerful processor than Galaxy A8 Star. Both of them have a Octa-Core processing unit and 6 GB of RAM memory.
LG Velvet features a little more vivid display than Galaxy A8 Star, because it has a bit more pixels per inch in the display, a little bit higher 1080 x 2460 resolution and a little bit larger screen. The LG Velvet features a superior memory for games and applications than Samsung Galaxy A8 Star, because it has a slot for external memory cards that supports up to 1,95 TB and 128 GB internal memory.
The LG Velvet counts with a bit longer battery duration than Galaxy A8 Star, because it has a 4300mAh battery capacity. The LG Velvet features a much better camera than Galaxy A8 Star, because although it has a tinier diafragm aperture, and they both have the same video definition and the same 30 frames per second video frame rates, the LG Velvet also counts with a back facing camera with a way better 48 mega pixels resolution and a much bigger sensor.
