Comparison review

LG Velvet has an overall score of 87.1, which is better than Xperia XZ1's general score of 78.3. Although the LG Velvet is notably newer than the Xperia XZ1, it's a bit thicker and somewhat heavier. The Sony Xperia XZ1 counts with just a bit better looking display than LG Velvet, because although it has a lot smaller screen and a quite lower 1080 x 1920 resolution, it also counts with a little bit higher pixel amount per display inch.

Xperia XZ1 has a CPU that's just as good as LG Velvet's processing unit, and although the Xperia XZ1 has 2 GB less RAM, they both have 8 CPU cores. The LG Velvet features a greater memory for games and applications than Xperia XZ1, and although they both have a SD memory slot that holds up to 1,95 TB, the LG Velvet also has more internal memory.

The LG Velvet captures slightly better videos and photos than Xperia XZ1, and although they both have the same video frame rates and the same 3840x2160 (4K) video resolution, the LG Velvet also has a lot more MP back facing camera, a bigger back camera sensor taking higher quality videos and photographs and a larger camera aperture for better low light photos and videos.

The LG Velvet features a really longer battery lifetime than Xperia XZ1, because it has 4300mAh of battery capacity instead of 2700mAh.

The LG Velvet is not only the best phones of the ones in this comparison, but it's also very cheap compared to the other ones, which makes it an obvious call.
