Huawei Mate 30 Pro 5G has an overall score of 90.5, which is much better than the Motorola Edge 50's overall score of 81.2. Both of these phones work with Android OS, but Huawei Mate 30 Pro 5G has an older 10 version and Motorola Edge 50 has Android 14. Despite being the best device in this review, the Huawei Mate 30 Pro 5G body is notably older, thicker and a little heavier than Motorola Edge 50.
Huawei Mate 30 Pro 5G features a lot better processing power than Motorola Edge 50. They have the same RAM amount and the same number of cores. The Motorola Edge 50 features a better screen than Huawei Mate 30 Pro 5G, because it has a little bit greater pixel number per inch of display, a bit higher 1220 x 2712 resolution and a quite larger display.
The Huawei Mate 30 Pro 5G has a slightly better camera than Motorola Edge 50, because although it has a tinier sensor offering a worse image quality, a lower 3840x2160 (4K) video definition and a camera in the back with a worse 40 mega pixels resolution, it also counts with a bigger aperture. The Huawei Mate 30 Pro 5G's memory capacity for apps and games is just as good as the Motorola Edge 50 one, they have the same internal memory.
Motorola Edge 50 has a bit superior battery performance than Huawei Mate 30 Pro 5G, because it has 5000mAh of battery capacity.
