Comparison review
The Motorola edge has an overall score of 89.6, which is better than Sony Xperia XZ3's 79.6 global score. Both phones in this comparison come with Android operating system, but the Motorola edge has an older 10 version while Sony Xperia XZ3 has Android 9.0 Pie version. The Motorola edge construction is newer, a little lighter and a little bit thinner than the Sony Xperia XZ3.
Sony Xperia XZ3 features a better display than Motorola edge, because although it has a little bit smaller screen, it also counts with a higher 1440 x 2880 resolution and a better screen density. The Sony Xperia XZ3 counts with a bit better hardware performance than Motorola edge, although it has 2 GB less RAM memory, they both have a Octa-Core CPU.
The Motorola edge features a much greater memory to store more apps and games than Xperia XZ3, because it has a SD memory slot that supports a maximum of 1000 GB and 256 GB internal storage capacity. Motorola edge takes much clearer pictures and videos than Sony Xperia XZ3, and although they both have the same 3840x2160 video definition and the same video frame rate, the Motorola edge also has a lot more megapixels back-facing camera, a much bigger back-facing camera sensor shooting lot higher quality photographs and a bigger camera aperture to capture better photos and videos in low light situations.
Motorola edge features longer battery life than Sony Xperia XZ3, because it has 4500mAh of battery capacity against 3330mAh.
Despite of being the best phone in our current comparison, the Motorola edge is also very cheap compared to the other phones, which makes it very easy to pick between these phones.
