Comparison review

Moto G 5G has an overall score of 81.5, which is a bit better than Motorola Edge 50's global score of 81.2. Even being the best cellphone in this comparison, we must note that it is also extremely older, somewhat heavier and noticeably thicker. Both phones in this review come with Android OS (Operating System), but Moto G 5G has 10 version while Motorola Edge 50 has Android 14 version.

The Motorola Edge 50 has a much better looking display than Moto G 5G, and although they both have a display of the same size, the Motorola Edge 50 also has a just a bit better pixel number per inch of screen and a quite better 1220 x 2712 pixels resolution. The Moto G 5G counts with a much greater processing power than Motorola Edge 50, although it has less RAM, they both have a Octa-Core processing unit.

The Motorola Edge 50 features a little bit better camera than Motorola Moto G 5G, because although it has a tinier diafragm aperture which is not nice for low light photography and videos, and they both have the same 3840x2160 (4K) video definition and the same video frame rate, the Motorola Edge 50 also counts with a better 50 megapixels resolution camera in the back.

The Motorola Edge 50 has a bit more memory to store more games and applications than Moto G 5G, because although it has no SD memory card expansion slot, it also counts with 192 GB more internal storage. Motorola Edge 50 and Moto G 5G feature similar batteries duration.
