Comparison review

The Xperia Z3 is slightly better than Motorola Moto G5 Plus, having a global score of 75.8 against 74.6. The Xperia Z3 construction is a bit lighter and a lot thinner than the Motorola Moto G5 Plus, even though it was released 3 years before. The Xperia Z3 has a more vivid screen than Moto G5 Plus. Both of them have exactly the same resolution of 1920 x 1080 pixels, a display with the same size and the same display pixels density.

The Sony Xperia Z3 has a bit more powerful processing unit than Motorola Moto G5 Plus, because although it has lesser CPU cores and lesser RAM, it also counts with an additional graphics co-processor. The Sony Xperia Z3 shoots just a bit better photos and videos than Motorola Moto G5 Plus, because although it has a smaller camera aperture which is not nice for taking photos and/or video in low light situations, and they both have the same video frame rates and the same 3840x2160 (4K) video quality, the Sony Xperia Z3 also counts with a back-facing camera with much more mega-pixels and a bigger back camera sensor providing a higher image quality.

The Motorola Moto G5 Plus counts with a much greater storage capacity to install applications and games or saving photos and videos than Sony Xperia Z3, and although they both have a SD memory slot that allows a maximum of 128 GB, the Motorola Moto G5 Plus also has 64 GB internal memory capacity. The Xperia Z3 has just a bit longer battery lifetime than Moto G5 Plus, because it has a 3% bigger battery capacity.

Despite of being the best phone of the ones we are comparing here, the Xperia Z3 is also a bargain compared to the other phones, which makes it very easy to pick between these phones.
