Comparison review

The Sony Xperia XZ3 is a bit better than the Moto G8, having a 79.6 score against 74.4. Both of these devices work with Android operating system, but the Sony Xperia XZ3 has the newer 9.0 Pie version and Moto G8 has Android 10, so it gives a couple nice extra features. Despite being the best phone in this review, the Sony Xperia XZ3 body is older, thicker and a little heavier than the Moto G8.

The Sony Xperia XZ3 features a bit more powerful processor than Moto G8. Both of them have the same number of cores and 4 GB of RAM memory. Xperia XZ3 has a much better screen than Moto G8, because although it has a little bit smaller screen, it also counts with a way higher 1440 x 2880px resolution and a way greater display density.

Xperia XZ3 counts with as much storage for games and applications as Moto G8, both have equal 64 GB internal memory and a slot for an SD memory card that allows up to 512 GB. Motorola Moto G8 counts with better battery performance than Xperia XZ3, because it has a 20 percent larger battery capacity.

The Xperia XZ3 has a little bit better camera than Motorola Moto G8, because although it has a tinier diafragm aperture which is not so good for low light images, and they both have the same video frame rates and the same 3840x2160 video definition, the Xperia XZ3 also counts with a more mega-pixels back facing camera.

Although Sony Xperia XZ3 is a better device, it is way more expensive than the Moto G8, and it doesn't have such a good relation between it's price and quality as the Moto G8. So if you want that extra features, you can buy Sony Xperia XZ3, but if you don't you can save some money and buy the Moto G8, resigning a couple specifications.
