Huawei P30 Lite has a global score of 77, which is just a bit better than the Motorola Moto Z Play's 74.4 overall score. Huawei P30 Lite is a way newer and a little lighter cellphone than the Motorola Moto Z Play, although it is just a little thicker. Both of these phones include Android OS, but the Huawei P30 Lite has the newer 9.0 Pie version while Motorola Moto Z Play has Android 8.0 Oreo, providing the user some nice extra features and some performance improvements.

Huawei P30 Lite counts with just a bit better looking display than Moto Z Play, because it has a little larger display, a slightly better resolution of 1080 x 2312 and a bit greater pixel number per display inch. The Huawei P30 Lite features a greater storage capacity to install games and applications than Motorola Moto Z Play, because although it has a slot for an external memory card that holds a maximum of 512 GB against 1,95 TB, it also counts with 96 GB more internal storage.

Huawei P30 Lite features a little faster processing unit than Motorola Moto Z Play, and although they both have 8 CPU cores, the Huawei P30 Lite also has a greater amount of RAM memory. The Moto Z Play counts with just a bit longer battery performance than Huawei P30 Lite, because it has a 3510mAh battery size against 3340mAh.

The Motorola Moto Z Play features a bit better camera than Huawei P30 Lite, because although it has a way less MP resolution camera and a smaller diafragm aperture, it also counts with a way higher 3840x2160 (4K) video definition.

Although Huawei P30 Lite is a better device, it is way more expensive than the Moto Z Play, and it doesn't have such a good relation between it's price and quality as Moto Z Play. If you want to save some money, you can buy Moto Z Play, letting go some specs and features, but you'll get the most with your budget.
