The LG G8X ThinQ has a global score of 82.7, which is better than Moto Z Play's 74.4 score. Both devices in this review include Android operating system, but LG G8X ThinQ has the older 10 version while Moto Z Play has Android 8.0 Oreo version. The LG G8X ThinQ construction is much newer than Moto Z Play's, but it's thicker and somewhat heavier.
LG G8X ThinQ counts with a little bit better looking screen than Moto Z Play, because it has a just a bit greater display pixels density, a slightly better resolution of 1080 x 2340 and a bigger display. The LG G8X ThinQ has much more memory for applications and games than Moto Z Play, and although they both have a slot for SD memory cards that admits up to 1,95 TB, the LG G8X ThinQ also has more internal memory.
LG G8X ThinQ has just a bit better hardware performance than Moto Z Play, and although they both have the same number of cores, the LG G8X ThinQ also has 3 GB more RAM memory. LG G8X ThinQ features a bit better camera than Moto Z Play, because although it has a lot less mega-pixels camera in the back and a worse video quality, it also counts with a larger diafragm aperture to capture better photography in poorly lited environments.
LG G8X ThinQ features just a little better battery lifetime than Motorola Moto Z Play, because it has 4000mAh of battery capacity.
