Comparison review

The Motorola edge is much better than the Moto Z Play, having an 89.6 score against 74.4. These phones include Android OS, but Motorola edge has the previous 10 version while Moto Z Play has Android 8.0 Oreo. Even though the Motorola edge is incredibly newer than Moto Z Play, it is thicker and somewhat heavier.

Motorola edge features a screen that's very similar to the screen in Moto Z Play, because although the Motorola edge has a just a bit less pixels per screen inch, it also counts with a larger screen and a slightly higher resolution of 1080 x 2340. The Motorola edge counts with a bit better processor than Moto Z Play, and although they both have the same number of cores, the Motorola edge also has more RAM memory.

The Motorola edge features a much bigger memory capacity to store more games and applications than Moto Z Play, because although it has a slot for an external memory card that supports 1000 GB smaller, it also counts with more internal storage capacity. Motorola edge features better battery lifetime than Moto Z Play, because it has 4500mAh of battery capacity.

The Motorola edge shoots much clearer photographs and videos than Motorola Moto Z Play, and although they both have the same (4K) video quality and the same video frame rate, the Motorola edge also has a larger diafragm aperture for better captures and video in low light environments and a way more megapixels camera in the back.

The Motorola edge costs a lot more money than the Moto Z Play, but you can get a much better phone for that extra dollars.
