Comparison review

Motorola Edge 40 has a general score of 77.2, which is a little bit better than Moto Z Play's 74.4 general score. Both of these phones work with Android OS (operating system), but the Motorola Edge 40 has 13 version and Moto Z Play has Android 8.0 Oreo. The Motorola Edge 40 is a noticeably newer device than the Moto Z Play, although it is just a bit heavier and just a little thicker.

The Moto Z Play features a very superior performance than Motorola Edge 40, although it has a smaller amount of RAM memory, they both have the same number of cores. Motorola Edge 40 features a brighter screen than Motorola Moto Z Play, because it has a slightly higher 1080 x 2400 resolution, a bigger screen and a little greater count of pixels in each inch in the screen.

Motorola Edge 40 has a lot better camera than Moto Z Play, and although they both have the same 30 fps video frame rates and the same (4K) video quality, the Motorola Edge 40 also has a camera with a way higher resolution and a way larger camera aperture to take better photos in low-light environments.

The Motorola Moto Z Play counts with much more storage to install games and applications than Motorola Edge 40, because although it has only 32 GB internal memory capacity, it also counts with a SD memory card expansion slot that allows up to 1,95 TB. The Motorola Edge 40 counts with longer battery performance than Moto Z Play, because it has a 25 percent bigger battery size.
