Comparison review
OnePlus 8 Pro is slightly better than the Motorola Moto Z Play, getting a overall score of 77.2 against 74.4. Although OnePlus 8 Pro is incredibly newer than the Motorola Moto Z Play, it is somewhat thicker and heavier. OnePlus 8 Pro has a much sharper display than Moto Z Play, because it has a lot higher resolution of 1440 x 3168, a better pixel amount in each inch in the screen and a larger screen.
OnePlus 8 Pro has a bit better processing power than Moto Z Play, and although they both have a Octa-Core processing unit, the OnePlus 8 Pro also has 5 GB more RAM. OnePlus 8 Pro takes much better photos and videos than Moto Z Play, and although they both have the same 3840x2160 video definition, the OnePlus 8 Pro also has a bigger camera aperture for better photos and video in low-light situations, higher 60 fps video frame rate and a way better resolution back facing camera.
The Motorola Moto Z Play has a much bigger storage for games and applications than OnePlus 8 Pro, because although it has just 32 GB internal storage capacity, it also counts with an external memory card slot that admits a maximum of 1,95 TB. OnePlus 8 Pro features better battery performance than Motorola Moto Z Play, because it has 4510mAh of battery capacity.
Although OnePlus 8 Pro is a better device, it is a lot more expensive than Moto Z Play, and it doesn't have such a good quality/price relation as the Moto Z Play. So if you need that extra features and specs, you can buy OnePlus 8 Pro, else you can save some dollars and get the Moto Z Play, giving up a couple specifications.
