Galaxy A31 has an overall score of 81.3, which is a little bit better than the Motorola Moto Z Play's general score of 74.4. Both phones in this comparison use Android operating system, but Galaxy A31 has an older 10 version while Motorola Moto Z Play has Android 8.0 Oreo version. Galaxy A31's construction is extremely newer, but heavier and somewhat thicker than the Motorola Moto Z Play.

The Galaxy A31's CPU is very similar to Moto Z Play's processing unit, and although the Galaxy A31 has a larger amount of RAM memory, they both have a Octa-Core processing unit. The Galaxy A31 counts with a little more vivid display than Motorola Moto Z Play, because it has a quite better resolution of 1080 x 2400px, a larger screen and a quite higher pixel density.

Moto Z Play counts with a slightly better storage capacity to install applications and games than Galaxy A31, because although it has only 32 GB internal memory, it also counts with a slot for an external memory card that holds up to 1,95 TB. The Galaxy A31 counts with a much longer battery performance than Motorola Moto Z Play, because it has 5000mAh of battery capacity against 3510mAh.

The Samsung Galaxy A31 captures better videos and photos than Motorola Moto Z Play, and although they both have the same 1920x1080 (Full HD) video quality, the same 30 frames per second video frame rates and the same aperture, the Samsung Galaxy A31 also has a camera in the back with a way better 48 mega-pixels resolution.
