The Galaxy M21 has a global score of 84.1, which is much better than Moto Z Play's 74.4 global score. Both of these devices work with Android OS (operating system), but the Galaxy M21 has an older 11 version and Moto Z Play has Android 8.0 Oreo. Although Galaxy M21 is notably newer than the Moto Z Play, it is somewhat thicker and somewhat heavier.

Samsung Galaxy M21 takes much better photographs and videos than Motorola Moto Z Play, and although they both have the same 3840x2160 (4K) video resolution, a same size camera aperture and the same 30 frames per second video frame rates, the Samsung Galaxy M21 also has a camera in the back with lot more megapixels.
