Comparison review

Galaxy S6 Active has an overall score of 80.9, which is just a bit better than Moto Z Play's 74.4 overall score. Both of these phones have Android OS, but Galaxy S6 Active has an older 5.0 version while Moto Z Play has Android 8.0 Oreo version. The Galaxy S6 Active construction is thicker but extremely lighter than the Moto Z Play.

The Samsung Galaxy S6 Active features a faster processor than Moto Z Play, and although they both have 3 GB of RAM and 8 cores, the Samsung Galaxy S6 Active also has a 64-bits CPU and a graphics co-processor. The Galaxy S6 Active has a much more vibrant display than Moto Z Play, because although it has a little bit smaller screen, it also counts with a better quantity of pixels per inch of screen and a better resolution of 2560 x 1440.

The Moto Z Play features a very superior storage capacity to store more apps and games than Samsung Galaxy S6 Active. Both of them have exactly the same internal storage capacity. The Moto Z Play captures better videos and photos than Samsung Galaxy S6 Active, although it has a tinier aperture which is not favorable for low light photography and videos, they both have a back camera with a 16 MP resolution, the same video frame rates and the same video quality.

Galaxy S6 Active's battery performance is very similar to the Moto Z Play one, although the Galaxy S6 Active has 3500mAh of battery capacity instead of 3510mAh.

Despite of being the best phone in our comparison, the Samsung Galaxy S6 Active is also the cheapest one, making it an easy choice.
