Xiaomi Black Shark 5 Pro is slightly better than Moto Z Play, having a general score of 78.7 against 74.4. Both phones in this comparison review come with Android OS (operating system), but Xiaomi Black Shark 5 Pro has the older 12 version while Moto Z Play has Android 8.0 Oreo version. The Xiaomi Black Shark 5 Pro is a much newer phone than the Moto Z Play, but it is extremely thicker and extremely heavier.
Moto Z Play features a very superior processing unit than Xiaomi Black Shark 5 Pro, although it has a lower amount of RAM, they both have a Octa-Core CPU. Moto Z Play has a bit sharper screen than Xiaomi Black Shark 5 Pro, because although it has a little worse resolution of 1080 x 1920px and a quite smaller screen, it also counts with a just a little more pixels per inch in the display.

The Xiaomi Black Shark 5 Pro features a slightly bigger storage capacity for games and applications than Moto Z Play, because although it has no SD memory slot, it also counts with more internal memory capacity. Xiaomi Black Shark 5 Pro has superior battery lifetime than Motorola Moto Z Play, because it has a 32 percent bigger battery capacity.
