Comparison review

The Xiaomi Mi Note 2 has a score of 76, which is a little bit better than the Moto Z Play's 74.4 general score. Even though Xiaomi Mi Note 2 is better than Moto Z Play, we must highlight that it is also a just a bit heavier and a little thicker phone. Both phones in our current comparison include Android operating system, but the Xiaomi Mi Note 2 has an older 6.0 Marshmallow version and Moto Z Play has Android 8.0 Oreo.

Xiaomi Mi Note 2 counts with a processing unit that is just as good as the Moto Z Play one, because although the Xiaomi Mi Note 2 has less cores (although they are faster), it also counts with a higher amount of RAM. Moto Z Play features a bit sharper screen than Xiaomi Mi Note 2, because although it has a little bit smaller screen, and they both have the same resolution of 1080 x 1920, the Moto Z Play also counts with a just a bit more pixels per screen inch.

Motorola Moto Z Play features a much bigger memory to install games and applications than Xiaomi Mi Note 2, because although it has just 32 GB internal storage capacity, it also counts with a slot for an external memory card that admits up to 1,95 TB. The Moto Z Play shoots much clearer photos and videos than Xiaomi Mi Note 2, although it has a lower (4K) video resolution and a much less megapixels resolution camera, they both have a F2 aperture.

The Xiaomi Mi Note 2 has better battery duration than Motorola Moto Z Play, because it has a 4070mAh battery size against 3510mAh.

Although Xiaomi Mi Note 2 is a better device, it is a lot more expensive than Moto Z Play, and it doesn't have such a good relation between it's price and quality as Moto Z Play. If you prefer to save a few dollars, you can buy the Moto Z Play, letting go a few features and specs, but you will get the most out of your money.
