The Xperia XZ2 has an overall score of 79.1, which is just a bit better than the Motorola Moto Z's global score of 74.5. The Xperia XZ2 design is newer, but much thicker and heavier than the Motorola Moto Z. Xperia XZ2 has a bit superior CPU than Motorola Moto Z, and although they both have 4 GB of RAM memory, the Xperia XZ2 also has more cpu cores.

The Xperia XZ2 has a little more vivid display than Motorola Moto Z, because although it has a way worse 1080 x 2160px resolution and a little inferior pixel quantity per inch in the screen, it also counts with a little bit larger display. Xperia XZ2 shoots better videos and photos than Moto Z, because although it has a smaller aperture, and they both have the same (4K) video resolution, the Xperia XZ2 also counts with a camera in the back with a much higher resolution and higher 60 fps video frame rate.

The Moto Z counts with a quite bigger memory for applications and games than Sony Xperia XZ2, because although it has less internal memory, it also counts with a SD extension slot that supports up to 1,95 TB.
