The Xiaomi Black Shark is just a bit better than the Moto Z4, with an 80.4 score against 79.8. Both devices in this review use Android OS (Operating System), but the Xiaomi Black Shark has a more recent 9.0 Pie version while Moto Z4 has Android 10 version. Even being the best we are comparing here, Xiaomi Black Shark's body is older, heavier and somewhat thicker than Moto Z4.
Xiaomi Black Shark has just a little better performance than Motorola Moto Z4, and although they both have the same number of cores, the Xiaomi Black Shark also has a larger amount of RAM memory. Xiaomi Black Shark has a little more vivid display than Moto Z4, although it has a bit less pixels per inch of display, a bit smaller display and a bit worse 1080 x 2160 resolution.
Moto Z4 shoots much better pictures and videos than Xiaomi Black Shark, and although they both have the same 3840x2160 video resolution and the same video frame rates, the Moto Z4 also has a way bigger camera sensor taking lot better quality videos and photographs, a much better 48 megapixels resolution camera in the back and a larger aperture to capture better low-light photos.
Moto Z4 features a much better memory capacity to store more games and applications than Xiaomi Black Shark, and although they both have the same internal memory, the Moto Z4 also has a slot for external memory cards that allows a maximum of 512 GB. Xiaomi Black Shark has just a little bit longer battery life than Moto Z4, because it has 4000mAh of battery capacity.
