Both devices in this review include Android OS (operating system), but the Nokia 8.3 5G has a newer 11 version while Galaxy A12 has Android 10. The Nokia 8.3 5G construction has the same thickness than Galaxy A12, but it is a bit heavier.
The Nokia 8.3 5G counts with a bit better processor than Galaxy A12, and although they both have a Octa-Core processor, the Nokia 8.3 5G also has a greater amount of RAM. The Nokia 8.3 5G has a little more vivid display than Galaxy A12, because it has a way better 1080 x 2400 resolution, a little larger display and a greater number of pixels per inch of screen.
Galaxy A12 features a bit better camera than Nokia 8.3 5G, although it has a tinier camera aperture which is not recommended for capturing photographs or videos in low-light situations, a back-facing camera with much less megapixels resolution and a much lower video resolution.
