Nokia 8.3 5G has a global score of 80.5, which is slightly better than the Galaxy A12's 80.3 global score. Both devices in this review include Android OS (operating system), but the Nokia 8.3 5G has a newer 11 version while Galaxy A12 has Android 10. The Nokia 8.3 5G construction has the same thickness than Galaxy A12, but it is a bit heavier.

The Nokia 8.3 5G counts with a bit better processor than Galaxy A12, and although they both have a Octa-Core processor, the Nokia 8.3 5G also has a greater amount of RAM. The Nokia 8.3 5G has a little more vivid display than Galaxy A12, because it has a way better 1080 x 2400 resolution, a little larger display and a greater number of pixels per inch of screen.

Galaxy A12 features a bit better camera than Nokia 8.3 5G, although it has a tinier camera aperture which is not recommended for capturing photographs or videos in low-light situations, a back-facing camera with much less megapixels resolution and a much lower video resolution. Nokia 8.3 5G counts with a bit more memory to store more games and applications than Samsung Galaxy A12, because although it has an external memory slot that supports 512 GB smaller, it also counts with 128 GB internal memory.

Galaxy A12 has a little better battery duration than Nokia 8.3 5G, because it has a 5000mAh battery capacity instead of 4500mAh.
