Comparison review
The Google Pixel 3a XL is a bit better than the OnePlus 8, with a overall score of 78.9 against 76. The Google Pixel 3a XL is an older and just a little bit thicker phone than OnePlus 8, but Google made it a little bit lighter anyway. The OnePlus 8 features a bit better hardware performance than Google Pixel 3a XL, and although they both have a Octa-Core processor, the OnePlus 8 also has 4 GB more RAM.
The OnePlus 8 counts with a more vivid display than Google Pixel 3a XL, because it has a just a bit more pixels per inch in the screen, a slightly better 1080 x 2400 resolution and a quite larger screen. The OnePlus 8 captures a lot better photographs and videos than Google Pixel 3a XL, and although they both have a same size diafragm aperture and the same (4K) video definition, the OnePlus 8 also has faster 60 fps video frame rate, a way more mega-pixels back camera and a way larger back camera sensor providing a lot better image quality.
The OnePlus 8 features a superior storage for applications, games, photos and videos than Google Pixel 3a XL, because it has 128 GB internal storage capacity. OnePlus 8 counts with a bit better battery performance than Google Pixel 3a XL, because it has a 4300mAh battery capacity.
Despite of being the best phone between the ones we are comparing, the Google Pixel 3a XL is also by far the cheapest one.
