Huawei P40 lite 5G has a global score of 83.4, which is a bit better than OnePlus 8's 76 global score. The Huawei P40 lite 5G body is a little thicker and just a little bit heavier than OnePlus 8. The OnePlus 8 has a bit better CPU than Huawei P40 lite 5G, and although they both have 8 processing cores, the OnePlus 8 also has a greater amount of RAM memory.
OnePlus 8 has a more vivid display than Huawei P40 lite 5G. They have a better pixels quantity per inch of display, a screen of the same size and exactly the same 1080 x 2400 resolution. The Huawei P40 lite 5G has as much storage capacity for applications, games, photos and videos as the OnePlus 8, both have exactly the same internal storage.
The OnePlus 8 counts with a bit superior battery duration than Huawei P40 lite 5G, because it has 4300mAh of battery capacity instead of 4000mAh.
