Motorola One Zoom is a bit better than the OnePlus 8, with a overall score of 80 against 76. Although it's the best in this comparison, the Motorola One Zoom design is thicker and just a little bit heavier than the OnePlus 8. OnePlus 8 counts with a sharper screen than Motorola One Zoom, because it has a quite larger screen, a little higher 1080 x 2400 resolution and a just a little greater pixel count per inch in the display.
The OnePlus 8 has a little faster processing unit than Motorola One Zoom, and although they both have 8 CPU cores, the OnePlus 8 also has a greater amount of RAM memory. Motorola One Zoom has a much greater storage capacity for apps and games than OnePlus 8, and although they both have equal 128 GB internal storage, the Motorola One Zoom also has a slot for external memory cards that supports up to 128 GB.
OnePlus 8 counts with just a little better battery performance than Motorola One Zoom, because it has an 8% larger battery capacity. The OnePlus 8 takes slightly better videos and photos than Motorola One Zoom, because although it has a smaller camera aperture which is worse for low light photography, and they both have the same back-facing camera sensor size, a 48 mega-pixels resolution back camera and the same (4K) video quality, the OnePlus 8 also counts with better 60 fps video frame rate.
The Motorola One Zoom costs more money than OnePlus 8, but you can get a better phone for that few extra dollars.
