Comparison review
The Samsung Galaxy A71 has an overall score of 87.5, which is much better than OnePlus 8's score of 76. Although Samsung Galaxy A71 and OnePlus 8 were released with only 3 months difference, Samsung Galaxy A71 is a bit thinner and just a bit lighter. OnePlus 8 counts with a bit more powerful processor than Galaxy A71, and although they both have 8 CPU cores, the OnePlus 8 also has a higher amount of RAM memory.
The OnePlus 8 counts with a sharper screen than Galaxy A71, because although it has a quite smaller screen, and they both have the same exact resolution of 1080 x 2400, the OnePlus 8 also counts with a bit better pixels amount per display inch. The Galaxy A71 has a much bigger storage capacity to store more apps and games than OnePlus 8, and although they both have exactly the same 128 GB internal storage, the Galaxy A71 also has a SD extension slot that holds a maximum of 512 GB.
Galaxy A71 captures slightly better videos and photos than OnePlus 8, because although it has slower video frame rate, and they both have the same 3840x2160 (4K) video definition and the same aperture, the Galaxy A71 also counts with a much higher resolution camera in the back and a bigger sensor providing a higher image quality.
The Samsung Galaxy A71 features just a little bit longer battery duration than OnePlus 8, because it has 4500mAh of battery capacity instead of 4300mAh.
