Comparison review
TCL 20 Pro 5G has an overall score of 76.1, which is just a bit better than OnePlus 8's 76 global score. TCL 20 Pro 5G's construction is newer than the OnePlus 8's, although it is somewhat thicker and a little heavier. OnePlus 8 features a better screen than TCL 20 Pro 5G, because although it has a quite smaller screen, and they both have an equal 1080 x 2400 resolution, the OnePlus 8 also counts with a just a little more pixels per display inch.
TCL 20 Pro 5G features much more memory capacity for applications and games than OnePlus 8, because it has 256 GB internal storage and an external memory card slot that supports a maximum of 1 TB. OnePlus 8 counts with a bit better performance than TCL 20 Pro 5G, and although they both have 8 processing cores, the OnePlus 8 also has a higher amount of RAM memory.
The OnePlus 8 takes clearer pictures and videos than TCL 20 Pro 5G, and although they both have a 0.5 inches sensor, a camera with a 48 MP, a F1.8 camera aperture and the same 3840x2160 video quality, the OnePlus 8 also has higher video frame rate. The TCL 20 Pro 5G features a little better battery duration than OnePlus 8, because it has a 5 percent larger battery capacity.
