The LG G8S ThinQ is slightly better than the OnePlus 9 Pro, getting an 82.5 score against 76.6. LG G8S ThinQ is an older phone than the OnePlus 9 Pro, but it is just a bit thinner and a little bit lighter anyway. Both of these devices include Android OS (operating system), but LG G8S ThinQ has the newer 9.0 Pie version while OnePlus 9 Pro has Android 11 version, so it gives a couple additional features and increased performance.
The OnePlus 9 Pro and the LG G8S ThinQ count with quite similar CPUs, and although the LG G8S ThinQ has lesser RAM memory, they both have a Octa-Core processing unit. The OnePlus 9 Pro has just a bit better looking screen than LG G8S ThinQ, because it has a higher resolution of 1440 x 3216px, a higher number of pixels per inch in the display and a little bigger screen.
LG G8S ThinQ has much more memory for games and applications than OnePlus 9 Pro, and although they both have equal 128 GB internal memory capacity, the LG G8S ThinQ also has a SD card slot that allows up to 1,95 TB. The OnePlus 9 Pro captures way better photographs and videos than LG G8S ThinQ, and although they both have a same size diafragm aperture, the OnePlus 9 Pro also has a lot higher video quality and a camera in the back with a lot better 48 megapixels resolution.
The OnePlus 9 Pro features greater battery life than LG G8S ThinQ, because it has a 27% larger battery size.
