The OnePlus 9 has a greater camera than Apple iPhone 8, and although they both have a F1.8 aperture, the OnePlus 9 also has a lot larger back-facing camera sensor providing a lot higher image quality, a way higher 7680x4320 video quality and a back camera with a way better resolution.
The iPhone 8 costs more money than the OnePlus 9, but it's still a great choice, because you can get a better phone for that extra money.
