Samsung Galaxy A8 Star has a score of 82.1, which is much better than Galaxy A01's 71.6 general score. These phones work with Android OS, but the Samsung Galaxy A8 Star has the newer 9.0 Pie version while Galaxy A01 has Android 11, so it provides a couple nice extra features. The Samsung Galaxy A8 Star body is a little thinner than Galaxy A01, although it is notably heavier and was released a bit more further than a year before.
The Samsung Galaxy A8 Star features just a bit better performance than Samsung Galaxy A01, and although they both have a Octa-Core processor, the Samsung Galaxy A8 Star also has 4 GB more RAM. Galaxy A8 Star counts with a little more vivid display than Galaxy A01, because it has more pixels per inch in the screen, a little larger screen and a way better 1080 x 2220 resolution.
The Galaxy A8 Star shoots better photographs and videos than Galaxy A01, because it has a bigger back camera sensor which offers a better photo and video quality, a way bigger diafragm aperture, a higher 16 mega-pixels resolution back facing camera and a lot better (4K) video resolution. Samsung Galaxy A8 Star features a superior memory to install applications and games or saving photos and videos than Samsung Galaxy A01, because although it has a SD extension slot that supports a maximum of 400 GB against 512 GB, it also counts with 64 GB internal storage capacity.
The Samsung Galaxy A8 Star has superior battery performance than Samsung Galaxy A01, because it has a 3700mAh battery capacity.
