The Galaxy A12 is just a bit better than the Motorola Edge (2024), having a global score of 80.3 against 78.5. Galaxy A12 is a older, a little bit thicker and somewhat heavier cellphone than the Motorola Edge (2024). Both devices in our current comparison use Android operating system, but Galaxy A12 has an older 10 version and Motorola Edge (2024) has Android 14.
The Motorola Edge (2024) has an incredibly better looking screen than Samsung Galaxy A12, because it has a bit bigger display, a lot higher resolution of 1080 x 2400px and a higher display pixel density. Motorola Edge (2024) has a bit more memory capacity to store more games and applications than Galaxy A12, because although it has no external memory slot, it also counts with 256 GB internal storage.
The Galaxy A12 has a much better processing power than Motorola Edge (2024), although it has 4 GB less RAM, they both have the same number of cores. Motorola Edge (2024)'s battery life is just as good as Samsung Galaxy A12's battery performance. The Motorola Edge (2024) and Samsung Galaxy A12 count with extremely similar cameras, although the Motorola Edge (2024) also has a bigger aperture to take better photos and videos in low light situations, a back facing camera with a better 50 MP resolution and a much higher 3840x2160 video resolution.
