Galaxy A12 has a general score of 80.3, which is a little bit better than the Galaxy A40's 79.6 overall score. Both of these devices come with Android OS, but the Galaxy A12 has an older 10 version and Galaxy A40 has Android 11. Even though Galaxy A12 is newer than Galaxy A40, it is somewhat thicker and much heavier.
The Samsung Galaxy A12 counts with a little bit better performance than Galaxy A40. Both of them have a Octa-Core processing unit and a 4 GB RAM memory. The Samsung Galaxy A40 has a better looking display than Samsung Galaxy A12, because although it has a quite smaller screen, it also counts with a much better 1080 x 2340px resolution and a much greater pixel number per inch of display.
