Comparison review
Galaxy S9 is slightly better than the Galaxy A12, getting a score of 83.3 against 80.3. Galaxy S9's body is lighter and a bit thinner than Galaxy A12, despite of the fact that it was released many years before. The Samsung Galaxy S9 has just a bit better performance than Galaxy A12. Both have the same RAM amount and the same number of cores.
Galaxy S9 features a much better screen than Galaxy A12, because although it has a little smaller display, it also counts with a much better resolution of 1440 x 2960 and a lot better pixels number per display inch. Galaxy A12 and Galaxy S9 count with incredibly similar cameras, because although the Galaxy S9 has a back facing camera with a lot worse resolution, it also counts with a lot better video resolution and a lot larger aperture.
The Samsung Galaxy A12 has more memory capacity for applications, games, photos and videos than Galaxy S9, and although they both have exactly the same internal memory capacity, the Samsung Galaxy A12 also has a slot for an external memory card that supports a maximum of 1 TB. The Samsung Galaxy A12 features a much better battery performance than Galaxy S9, because it has 5000mAh of battery capacity.
