The Xperia 10 III has a global score of 83.7, which is just a bit better than Samsung Galaxy A12's 80.3 general score. Both of these phones use Android OS, but Xperia 10 III has the newer 11 version and Samsung Galaxy A12 has Android 10 version. Even when the Xperia 10 III and Samsung Galaxy A12 were released only 6 months apart, the Xperia 10 III is somewhat lighter and a little bit thinner.

The Sony Xperia 10 III has a brighter display than Galaxy A12, because although it has a quite smaller screen, it also counts with a lot better 1080 x 2520 resolution and way more pixels per display inch. Xperia 10 III has a quite bigger storage for games and applications than Samsung Galaxy A12, and although they both have a SD extension slot that supports up to 1 TB, the Xperia 10 III also has 64 GB more internal storage.
