Galaxy A31 has a general score of 81.3, which is slightly better than the Motorola Edge 50's general score of 81.2. Both devices in this review use Android OS (operating system), but Galaxy A31 has 10 version while Motorola Edge 50 has Android 14. Even being the best in this comparison, it must be told that it is also extremely older, just a little heavier and a bit thicker.
The Samsung Galaxy A31 counts with a really superior performance than Motorola Edge 50, although it has less RAM, they both have a Octa-Core processing unit. Motorola Edge 50 features a much better display than Galaxy A31, because it has a little larger display, a bit higher 1220 x 2712px resolution and a just a bit higher pixels quantity in each display inch.
The Motorola Edge 50 captures slightly better photos and videos than Galaxy A31, because it has a bigger diafragm aperture to take better low-light photography and video, a back-facing camera with a better 50 mega pixels resolution, a much larger back-facing camera sensor capturing more light and vivid colors and a way higher 3840x2160 video quality.
Motorola Edge 50 counts with a greater storage for applications, games, photos and videos than Samsung Galaxy A31, because although it has no slot for external memory cards, it also counts with 256 GB internal storage. Motorola Edge 50 features a battery lifetime that is just as good as the battery performance in Galaxy A31.
