Samsung Galaxy A42 has a global score of 87, which is a bit better than the Asus ROG Phone 8 Pro's general score of 84.2. These phones have Android OS (Operating System), but Samsung Galaxy A42 has the previous 11 version and Asus ROG Phone 8 Pro has Android 14 version. Samsung Galaxy A42 is an older device than the Asus ROG Phone 8 Pro, but Samsung made it lighter and just a bit thinner anyway.
The Samsung Galaxy A42 has a much powerful CPU than Asus ROG Phone 8 Pro, although it has 12 GB less RAM, they both have the same number of cores.
