Samsung Galaxy A42 has a general score of 87, which is much better than Asus ZenFone AR's 77.4 score. Samsung Galaxy A42 is a a lot newer and just a little thinner cellphone than the Asus ZenFone AR, although it is somewhat heavier. The Galaxy A42 has just a little better performance than Asus ZenFone AR, because although it has a lower amount of RAM memory, it also counts with a larger number of cores.
The Asus ZenFone AR has a much better looking screen than Galaxy A42, because although it has a bit smaller display, it also counts with a lot higher 1440 x 2560 resolution and a much greater screen density. The Asus ZenFone AR has a greater storage capacity to install applications and games than Galaxy A42, and although they both have exactly the same 128 GB internal memory capacity, the Asus ZenFone AR also has a SD memory slot that allows up to 1,95 TB.
Samsung Galaxy A42 features a superior battery life than Asus ZenFone AR, because it has 5000mAh of battery capacity. Galaxy A42 takes just a bit better videos and photos than Asus ZenFone AR, and although they both have the same 3840x2160 (4K) video quality, the Galaxy A42 also has a much more mega pixels camera in the back, better video frame rate and a bigger aperture to take better low-light captures.
