Comparison review
The Galaxy A42 is a little bit better than LG V30, getting a overall score of 87 against 79.1. The Galaxy A42 body is way newer, but heavier and somewhat thicker than the LG V30. LG V30 has a much better display than Galaxy A42, because although it has a bit smaller display, it also counts with a way higher resolution of 1440 x 2880 pixels and a much greater number of pixels per inch of screen.
The LG V30 counts with a bit better processing unit than Galaxy A42. Both of them have the same number of cores and the same RAM amount. Galaxy A42 features a much better camera than LG V30, because although it has a smaller aperture which is not favorable for low light captures, and they both have the same 30 fps video frame rate and the same (4K) video definition, the Galaxy A42 also counts with a much higher 48 mega pixels resolution back facing camera.
