Samsung Galaxy A42 has a global score of 87, which is much better than the OnePlus 8's general score of 76. The Samsung Galaxy A42 is an a little bit thicker and a little bit heavier cellphone than the OnePlus 8. The OnePlus 8 counts with a bit superior CPU than Galaxy A42, and although they both have a Octa-Core processor, the OnePlus 8 also has a greater amount of RAM memory.
The OnePlus 8 counts with an incredibly better looking screen than Galaxy A42, because although it has a bit smaller display, it also counts with a lot higher 1080 x 2400 pixels resolution and a way better screen pixels density. OnePlus 8 counts with a little bit better camera than Samsung Galaxy A42, and although they both have a F1.8 aperture, the same 3840x2160 video resolution and a camera in the back with a 48 mega-pixels, the OnePlus 8 also has faster video frame rate.
