Comparison review
The Galaxy A42 has an overall score of 87, which is much better than OnePlus 9 Pro's 76.6 overall score. Both of these devices work with the same Android 11 OS (operating system). The Galaxy A42 design has the same thickness than OnePlus 9 Pro, but it's just a bit lighter. OnePlus 9 Pro counts with a little faster processing unit than Galaxy A42, and although they both have a Octa-Core processing unit, the OnePlus 9 Pro also has a higher amount of RAM.
OnePlus 9 Pro features a lot better looking screen than Samsung Galaxy A42, because it has a way greater quantity of pixels per inch of display, a much better 1440 x 3216px resolution and a little bigger display. The Samsung Galaxy A42 features a way bigger storage capacity to install applications and games than OnePlus 9 Pro, and although they both have exactly the same 128 GB internal memory capacity, the Samsung Galaxy A42 also has an external memory card slot that supports up to 1000 GB.
Samsung Galaxy A42 features just a little better battery duration than OnePlus 9 Pro, because it has a 5000mAh battery size instead of 4500mAh. The OnePlus 9 Pro takes better photographs and videos than Galaxy A42, and although they both have the same resolution back camera and a F1.8 aperture, the OnePlus 9 Pro also has a lot better video quality.
