Comparison review
The Galaxy A42 is slightly better than Galaxy M31, with an 87 score against 86.5. Both devices in this comparison review use the same Android 11 OS (operating system), so you shouldn't perceive any difference regarding that. Galaxy A42's body is a little thinner but just a bit heavier than the Galaxy M31, and they were released only a couple of months apart.
The Galaxy M31 has a better looking display than Samsung Galaxy A42, because although it has a little smaller screen, it also counts with a lot higher resolution of 1080 x 2340 and a much better quantity of pixels per display inch.
