HTC U Ultra is just a bit better than the Galaxy A5, getting a 77 score against 72.4. Although the HTC U Ultra is extremely newer than the Galaxy A5, it is noticeably heavier and thicker. HTC U Ultra counts with a little more vivid display than Galaxy A5, because it has a lot better resolution of 1440 x 2560px, a lot more pixels per inch of display and a little bigger display.
The HTC U Ultra features a superior storage capacity for applications, games, photos and videos than Galaxy A5, because it has a SD card slot that supports up to 1,95 TB and 48 GB more internal memory. Galaxy A5 has a bit better performance than HTC U Ultra, because although it has a lower amount of RAM, and they both have 4 cores, the Galaxy A5 also counts with a 64-bits CPU and an extra GPU.
HTC U Ultra shoots much better photos and videos than Galaxy A5, because although it has a lower resolution back facing camera, it also counts with a much higher (4K) video resolution. HTC U Ultra has longer battery performance than Galaxy A5, because it has a 30% more battery capacity.
Although HTC U Ultra is a better device, it costs a lot more money than Galaxy A5, and it doesn't have such a good relation between it's price and quality as Galaxy A5. So if you want that extra specs, you can buy HTC U Ultra, but if you don't you can save a couple dollars and buy the Galaxy A5, letting go some features and specs.
