Comparison review
The Samsung Galaxy A50s is much better than Xiaomi Mi 5s, with a overall score of 86.6 against 76.4. Both phones in this comparison review use Android operating system, but the Samsung Galaxy A50s has the previous 10 version and Xiaomi Mi 5s has Android 6.0 Marshmallow version. The Samsung Galaxy A50s is a notably newer and just a bit thinner cellphone than Xiaomi Mi 5s, but it is somewhat heavier.
Xiaomi Mi 5s has a little bit better looking screen than Samsung Galaxy A50s, because although it has a quite lower resolution of 1080 x 1920px and a little smaller screen, it also counts with a bit higher count of pixels per inch in the screen. Galaxy A50s counts with a much greater memory for applications, games, photos and videos than Xiaomi Mi 5s, and although they both have exactly the same 128 GB internal storage capacity, the Galaxy A50s also has a slot for SD memory cards that admits a maximum of 512 GB.
Samsung Galaxy A50s counts with a bit better processing unit than Xiaomi Mi 5s, because it has a greater amount of RAM memory and more cores. The Galaxy A50s has greater battery performance than Xiaomi Mi 5s, because it has a 25 percent more battery size. The Samsung Galaxy A50s takes much clearer pictures and videos than Xiaomi Mi 5s, and although they both have a same size aperture, the same 30 fps video frame rate and the same (4K) video quality, the Samsung Galaxy A50s also has a camera with way more mega pixels and a larger back-facing camera sensor capturing more light and vivid colors.
