The Samsung Galaxy A51 5G is a bit better than the Samsung Galaxy M31s, getting a general score of 90.8 against 88. The Samsung Galaxy A51 5G is a a bit thinner and a bit lighter cellphone than Samsung Galaxy M31s, although both of them were released only 3 months apart. These phones use the same Android 11 OS (operating system), so you shouldn't perceive any difference in that aspect.
