Comparison review
The Sony Xperia 5 has a general score of 81, which is slightly better than Samsung Galaxy A70's 76.9 overall score. Even though the Sony Xperia 5 and Samsung Galaxy A70 were released only a couple months apart, Sony Xperia 5's body is a little thicker but lighter. Sony Xperia 5 counts with a little more vivid screen than Samsung Galaxy A70, because although it has a bit smaller screen, it also counts with a little bit greater number of pixels per inch in the display and a slightly higher 1080 x 2520 resolution.
Sony Xperia 5 features just a little better performance than Galaxy A70. Both have 6 GB of RAM memory and the same number of cores. The Sony Xperia 5 counts with as much memory for applications, games, photos and videos as the Samsung Galaxy A70 one, both have exactly the same internal memory and an external memory card slot that holds up to 512 GB.
Xperia 5 takes way better videos and photos than Samsung Galaxy A70, and although they both have the same 3840x2160 video quality and the same 30 frames per second video frame rate, the Xperia 5 also has a larger aperture and a larger sensor which gives a better image and video quality. Galaxy A70 has a way better battery duration than Sony Xperia 5, because it has a 4500mAh battery size.
Although Xperia 5 is a better device, it is a lot more expensive than the Galaxy A70, and it doesn't have such a good price and quality relation as the Galaxy A70. So if you need that extra features, you can buy Xperia 5, else you can save a couple dollars and get the Galaxy A70, resigning a couple features and specifications.
