The Samsung Galaxy A8 Star is just a bit better than the LG K62, with a general score of 82.1 against 78.2. Both phones in this review come with Android OS (operating system), but the Samsung Galaxy A8 Star has a newer 9.0 Pie version while LG K62 has Android 10, giving lots of additional features and performance optimizations. The Samsung Galaxy A8 Star is a noticeably older and just a little bit heavier cellphone than LG K62, but Samsung made it just a little bit thinner anyway.
LG K62 counts with a processing unit that's very similar to the Galaxy A8 Star one, and although the LG K62 has a lower amount of RAM, they both have the same number of cores. Galaxy A8 Star has a little bit better looking display than LG K62, because although it has a quite smaller display, it also counts with a way higher resolution of 1080 x 2220 pixels and a higher display pixels density.
The LG K62 features a much bigger storage capacity for games and applications than Samsung Galaxy A8 Star, because it has a SD extension slot that admits a maximum of 1,95 TB and 128 GB internal storage. Galaxy A8 Star counts with just a bit better camera than LG K62, because although it has a way smaller sensor taking much lower quality pictures and videos and a back-facing camera with way less mega pixels, it also counts with a much higher video quality and a larger camera aperture for better captures and videos in poorly lited situations.
LG K62 has just a bit longer battery performance than Samsung Galaxy A8 Star, because it has a 4000mAh battery size instead of 3700mAh.
