The Galaxy A80 has a global score of 84.9, which is just a bit better than HTC U11's 77.6 global score. The Galaxy A80 is a much newer cellphone than the HTC U11, but it's thicker and notably heavier. The HTC U11 has a bit more powerful processor than Samsung Galaxy A80, although it has 4 GB less RAM memory, they both have the same number of cores.

The HTC U11 counts with a bit sharper screen than Samsung Galaxy A80, because although it has a bit smaller screen, it also counts with a better 1440 x 2560 resolution and a better pixels density. Galaxy A80 takes clearer pictures and videos than HTC U11, because although it has a smaller aperture which is not nice for shooting images and/or video in poorly lited environments, and they both have the same (4K) video definition and the same 30 frames per second video frame rates, the Galaxy A80 also counts with a camera with a much better 48 megapixels resolution and a much bigger back-facing camera sensor capturing lot higher quality videos and photographs.

Galaxy A80 features just a bit more memory for games and applications than HTC U11, because although it has no SD memory slot, it also counts with more internal storage. The Galaxy A80 counts with improved battery performance than HTC U11, because it has a 23% bigger battery size.
