Comparison review
Huawei P40 is a bit better than Samsung Galaxy A80, having a score of 86.4 against 84.9. Huawei P40's construction is newer, thinner and lighter than Samsung Galaxy A80. The Huawei P40 counts with a little sharper screen than Galaxy A80, because although it has a bit lower 1080 x 2340 resolution and a quite smaller screen, it also counts with a bit higher pixel density.
Huawei P40 features a bit faster CPU than Galaxy A80, although it has a lower amount of RAM, they both have a Octa-Core CPU. The Huawei P40 shoots much clearer pictures and videos than Samsung Galaxy A80, and although they both have the same 3840x2160 (4K) video quality, the Huawei P40 also has a camera in the back with more mega-pixels, faster video frame rate, a larger aperture to take better images and video in low light situations and a much larger back-facing camera sensor taking much better quality photos and videos.
Galaxy A80 and Huawei P40 have quite similar storage for applications and games, both of them have the same internal memory. The Huawei P40 has just a little better battery lifetime than Samsung Galaxy A80, because it has 3800mAh of battery capacity against 3700mAh.
