Galaxy M40 is a bit better than Samsung Galaxy A80, getting an 85 score against 84.9. The Galaxy M40 construction is somewhat thinner and noticeably lighter than Samsung Galaxy A80, even though both were released with only a few months difference. The Galaxy A80 has just a little better performance than Samsung Galaxy M40, and although they both have a Octa-Core CPU, the Galaxy A80 also has a higher amount of RAM.
Galaxy M40 counts with a little bit better screen than Galaxy A80, because although it has a bit lower resolution of 1080 x 2340px and a little smaller display, it also counts with a just a bit greater display density. Galaxy M40's camera is very similar to the camera in Samsung Galaxy A80, because although the Galaxy M40 has a lot tinier back-facing camera sensor, a lower 3840x2160 (4K) video definition and a back-facing camera with a lot lower 32 mega-pixels resolution, it also counts with a larger aperture.
Samsung Galaxy M40 has a much greater storage for applications and games than Galaxy A80, and although they both have equal internal storage capacity, the Samsung Galaxy M40 also has an external SD slot that supports up to 512 GB. The Galaxy A80 counts with just a little better battery duration than Galaxy M40, because it has a 3700mAh battery size.
