Comparison review
The Samsung Galaxy A80 is a bit better than the Xiaomi Mi Max, having a global score of 84.9 against 77.5. Even though Samsung Galaxy A80 is noticeably newer than the Xiaomi Mi Max, it is somewhat thicker and a little heavier. The Galaxy A80 has a bit better performance than Xiaomi Mi Max, and although they both have a Octa-Core CPU, the Galaxy A80 also has a larger amount of RAM.
The Galaxy A80 counts with a slightly better display than Xiaomi Mi Max, because it has a quite better 1080 x 2400 resolution, a little bigger display and a quite better amount of pixels per inch of screen. Galaxy A80 takes better photographs and videos than Xiaomi Mi Max, and although they both have the same (4K) video resolution, a same size aperture and the same 30 frames per second video frame rates, the Galaxy A80 also has a back facing camera with much more mega-pixels.
The Xiaomi Mi Max counts with a much better storage capacity for games and applications than Samsung Galaxy A80, and although they both have exactly the same 128 GB internal storage capacity, the Xiaomi Mi Max also has a SD memory card expansion slot that allows a maximum of 256 GB. The Xiaomi Mi Max has superior battery duration than Galaxy A80, because it has a 4850mAh battery size.
