Galaxy A9 (2018) is a bit better than Asus ROG Phone 8 Pro, having an 85.2 score against 84.2. Even though the Galaxy A9 (2018) is notably older than Asus ROG Phone 8 Pro, it's construction is thinner and lighter. Galaxy A9 (2018) counts with a much better performing processor than Asus ROG Phone 8 Pro, although it has a lower amount of RAM, they both have a Octa-Core processor.
